There is no one place in Norwood's where you can see every other place. The restaurant is not a dining colosseum—it's more of a collection of dining stages—each a little more or less intimate than the other. And, we celebrate the several stages with varying levels—at least four (some say five). It was designed that way by noted local architect, Will Miller. He's also responsible for the coquina exterior which shouts Florida, but whispers reliable.
While you may want to stay close to your hostess as she leads you to your special venue, it won't be hard to find your way out or locate the “necessaries” should the need arise mid-meal. More importantly, you can see that we are able to accommodate many different party sizes—from a banquet for 100 to an intimate adventure for two. And no matter the size of your group, you'll feel special and well attended in the cozy atmosphere we've selected for you.
Throughout our facility, enjoy the rustic yet well-appointed decor. We have model sailboats and pieces of rigging, we have trophy fish and aquatic chotchkes, all complementarily arranged in an eclectic montage of nautical whimsy. The only thing missing is the souffle de mer—the breath of the sea.
Try us. You'll be back—just as locals have been doing for more than half a century. Our patrons recognize the value and appreciate the quality of fine food service. They're our friends, and we want you to be, too.
Open from 11:30 am until 10 pm every day of the year.
